Buttermilk Falls is a treat to visit any time of the year. This spot, with tables and fireplaces is an excellent spot for a picnic. The short walk to the falls is fine for all ages. There is a 2 1/2 mile canoe carry around the falls. Bring your camera as this is an excellent photo opportunity.
During wet weather, please use caution when walking in this area, rocks can be very slippery.
The entrance to the falls is on the right side of the road, 2 miles from the intersection of Route 30.
